Know Your Particles, Boost Coating Quality
A joint webinar with MICROTRAC
Ever wondered why some coatings outperform others in color vibrancy, durability, shelf life, and application? The secret lies in knowledge about the nature of your particles, their behavior in the formulation, and the connection between these properties and the quality of liquid coatings and coated surfaces.
In this webinar, MICROTRAC and KRÜSS combine their respective expertise in particle size, zeta potential, and stability analysis as well as interfacial interactions between powders and liquids.
What we are discussing
As experts in their different fields, MICROTRAC and KRÜSS join their know-how in particle analysis and interfacial characterization to help you optimize your coating formulations. Experience sophisticated measurement methods based on practical use cases, and learn:
-
How particle size analysis with no dilution helps understand the condition in the native sample for optimizing features such as smoothness, opacity, and gloss.
-
Why high values of zeta potential and wetting enthalpy reduce aggregation risk and improve dispersibility, thus improving the consistency and shelf life of inks and paints.
-
How stability analysis and sedimentation characterization help maintain product performance from application to end use.
- What methods and tools are available to provide you with all this knowledge about your coating.
